Being very late with many things

Well, it has been quite a while since i have poster another blog.
I dunno but I have been lazy for a while, since I do like to spend so much time on the internet, yet forget to update this blog and such...
so anyway, moving on

My birthday was about a week ago (May 9) and as a new 17 year old, I really don't know if I am even ready for such a thing.  Yes I did take drivers-ed, but i still feel nervous all due to not practicing as much... duh! I really have to start maturing or else I may be stuck in this hole called "Decaying Childhood" for the rest of my days.

Besides my fit about growing-up and all (that sounds childish by the way), I am more than happy to present some random stuff that caught my mind that i feel are important (or cool)

Great News, Soundwave made it into TF2! I am not so sure what he will turn into in the movie (please don't say iPod) but it has to have his G1 characteristics! I know I'm a bit of a fanboy... but I cannot resist GIANT ROBOTS!

I went to see Prince Caspian last night and got home REALLY late (first time I have done this, a "good" boy I am) and I do recommend it, if you never read the books and if you saw the first one. The action scenes were great, but there is so much missing in the movie, which didn't leave me stirring with my senses so much as I expected.

Due to that horrific day that will be today, Prom will exist and the school has unleashed one of their tactics to scare the students into not drinking and driving (like that has worked before...) and did a whole staged crash (with lots of fake gore and realistic props, not to mention cops and ambulances), two speakers gave tear-jerker stories (I admire their sincerity and hearts), and i left, thinking that many people are now more prone to listen to an emotional push rather than logic, and this greatly concerns me since emotions change rapidly, and people put themselves more in risk... so all of that simulation could have been avoided if we started to use logic, not that everyone will try though...

however, I went to a great alternative to Prom, is to see my friend dance ballet today at some elementary school and she did her solo (involving a split) and she was indeed truly awesome... gotta give Anna Larson some props there... if you wanna stop by just visit www.annahammond.blogspot.com and give her your nicest opinions....

by the way, a friend of mine really convicted me and showed me how I am becoming really depressed and I really shouldn't fret about such thing... I mean a guy there has his sister in the hospital but he doesn't put self-pity, but rather just prays for her....
Praise God....

that is about it for now....

BE HAPPY, BE ALIVE!

God bless
Ed
